The 2012 Tata Nano is finally out. Tata Motors has unveiled the new Tata Nano with several new features and options. Tata Motors has said the 2012 Tata Nano will offer a fuel economy of 25.4kmpl have 10 paint options and is powered by a more powerful petrol engine.Tata Nano Price comes with different ranges and different price option. Nano Standard model is offered with Rs 12000 as cash discount and Rs 15000 as down payment, Nano CX model is offered with Rs 15000 as cash discount and Rs 22000 as down payment, Nano LX model is offered with Rs 15000 as cash discount and Rs 24000 as down payment

Talking about the Tata Nano Review 2012 Tata Nano engines are offered in both BSIII and BSIV emission complaint. Tata Nano 2012 is offered with 624cc, 2-cylinder, MPFI engine that generates 38PS of power (from 35PS) at 5500rpm and 51Nm (from 48Nm) of torque at 4000rpm. Nano 2012 can reach upto 105 Kmph as top speed and matted with synchromesh on all forward gears, sliding mesh on reverse gear with overdrive on 4th gear. 2012 Nano suspension comes with Independent, Lower Wishbone, and McPherson Strut with gas filled dampers and anti-roll bar at the front and Independent,Semi Trailing arm with coil spring & gas filled shock absorbers on the rear. The brake type on the Nano 2012 is offered with Dual Circuit, Vertical Split operated by tandem master cylinder with vacuum booster and 180 mm diameter Drum Brake in both front and rear. The tyre type is radial and tubeless as the front tyre size is measured at 135/70 R12, rear at 155/65 R12 and the space comes with 135/70 R12.2012 Tata Nano is measured at 3099 mm in length, 1495 mm (Without ORVMs) in width, 1652 mm in height, 2230 mm in wheelbase, 180 mm in gear clearance. It has a 4 meters turning circle radius, seating capacity at 4 and fuel tank at 15-litre. The boot space with rear seat folded is measured at 500 liters and without it is measured at 80-litres. The kerb weight of Nano is 600 kg; Nano CX is at 615 Kg and Nano LX at 635 kg.

Tata Motors has worked on making improvements to the Nano and the feature list is sufficient proof.The AC is more efficient and powerful. The engine as we mentioned earlier is also more powerful and yet more fuel efficient. The new Nano's mileage of Rs.25.4kmpl (which was earlier 23.6kmpl) will make it India's most fuel efficient petrol car in India. The engine can now generate 38PS from the previous 35PS and torque figures have increased from 48Nm to 51Nm. The new Nano is also the car with the lowest CO2 emissions in Indian cars at 92.7g/km. The performance aspect of the Nano has also been improved with the top speed increasing to 105kmph. The ride and handling of the Nano gets a fillip due to the use of a revised suspension set up which comes with an anti-roll bar in the front. The driving comfort of the Nano has also been improved thanks to an improvement in the steering mechanism. The cabin will also be quieter but the Nano will have a racier exhaust note. On the safety front Tata Motors has added booster assisted brakes to the entry level version too., These brakes were earlier available only in the CX and LX variants.
