Tata Motors might resume its Nano booking by Dec, 2010

Tata Motors might resume its Nano booking by December 2010 for those who had missed the chance of the world's cheapest car. Last Year, when it was launched in 2009, before the rolled out Nano 100,000 first phase booking has already got by the company. Tata Motors believed that last quarter of the current calender year deadline booking will be covered by December. Tata Nano production is well, because all plants are increasing their production capacity such as the mother plant at Sanand is being readied for operations, while Pantnager unit is also going to raise production. Tata Nano has been delivered to 17,537 customers across India. Tata Motors' Pantnager plant produces at least 150 units per day, against previous section produced 70 units a day from the excise-free zone. The company aims to produce maximum 200 units a day in the next few months.



The annual capacity of 50,000 units will created in Uttarakhand plant, therefore, will be increased 72,000 units. As per sources, production can be extended further to 90,000 units a year. The Gujarat plant will add considerable volumes once commercial production begins in March. Prakash M Telang, managing director (India operations) of Tata Motors said," we will reopen booking, when we come conclusion of delivery. However, will also have some surprise this time. The Sanand plant gradual increase to 20,000 units a month, it will make helpful that the company achieve delivery target well before the end of 2010. The price will be a matter of concern, considering the key of rise raw material prices.




Tata Motors has already hiked the price of manufacturers vehicles, like SUV's and MUV's raised by Rs. 1,500-3,000 per unit this month. Tata Motors committed that the first lot booked 100,000 Nano cars had fixed the price, but the next batch might come with revised prices. Prices of key materials such as aluminium, steel, rubber and copper etc, have moved north over past six months. However, The company did not cover the total raise in input costs, said officials. Toyota Etios is the most awaited car in India. On the other hand, Toyota's most popular car is Toyota Corolla.

Tata Aria to be introduced in April, 2010

Country's leading auto maker, Tata Motors has planned to introduce its new crossover vehicle 'Tata Aria' by the end of April, 2010 in Indian Auto Market. It's a cross-over model, which will be shifted with all stylish features that any premium SUV. It will take place between SUV and MPV segment. It was earlier launched in the 10th anniversary of Delhi Auto Expo 2010. Tata Aria's engine 2.2L DICOR (Direct Injection Common Rail) engine type coupled with 16 values, which achieves a top speed of 152 kmph. The engine loops out of maximum power 140 bhp at 4,000 rpm and a peak torque build of 320 Nm at 1,700 to 2,700 rpm. Tata Motors has promised that its powertrain higher power and performance along with 5 speed manual transmission.



The company has not announced about price and commercial production tags. It is believed to be fall in price range of between Rs. 5-7 lakh. Tata Motors is expected to roll out its most popular models Tata Indica and Tata Nano in the United Kingdom. Tata Indica Vista electric vehicle had been showcased in the Auto Expo event. The company aims to begin production of its passenger electric vehicle within 2011.



In Delhi Auto Expo, Tata Motors showcased other categories vehicles in the Expo such as Tata Venture (MPV) and one of the most concept car 'Tata Prima'. Currently, owned of Jaguar and Land Rover models, Jaguar has launched at Auto Expo its flagship luxury model Jaguar XJ in India. On the other hand, Ford Motors has Launched its mid-sized sedan segment Ford Figo vehicle's commercial production in India.

World car major, Tata Motors intends to roll out its flagship Tata Indica Vista's electric variant in India by the year, 2011. Tata Motors has invested Rs. 160 crore for electric vehicles production in the Norway and Scandinavian markets. The company believes that the EV project will turn to give advantage within 4 year of starting production. Tata Indica Vista EV is expected priced around Rs. 6 to Rs. 7 lakh. Its highest powered by the 55 kw at 4000 rpm and 160 Nm of Torque, which will get top speed around of 151 kmph. Tata Indica Vista Electric Vehicle has been designed and developed by the Tata Motors Technical center, which is there in the European market. Its new variant will be improved with help of Lithium-ion batteries to make a faster and peppier of its electric variant.




Its electric variant is batter than the diesel and petrol versions, which are available in India auto market. It's acceleration equipped with highest power batteries, the car will achieve 0-30 kmph in just 4.5 seconds and more than 0-60 also get within around 10 seconds. Tata Motors posted 77pc sales growth in Jan,10

One of the leading auto maker of the country, Tata Motors has posted a zoomed sales in last month. The sales are including with passenger and commercial vehicles. The company sales grew 77 percent to 65,478 vehicles in January 2010, compare with 36,931 vehicles in the same period last fiscal, a company statement said here on Monday. January, 2010 was great period for auto Industry, as there was a biggest auto event in New Delhi. Many leading auto companies showed their strength and innovative products in that event. Tata Motors also showcased many upcoming cars and others car models in the event, which will come with next generation technology.



The company's overall sales for the fiscal at 498,108, recorded a raised of 24 percent over 400,284 units sold in year 2009. Tata Motor's domestic sales of passenger and commercial vehicles were at 62,202 units in January 2010, against 74 percent sales growth over 35,704 units in same month last financial year. Tata Motors unveiled its 'Tata Aria' at 10th Delhi Auto Expo 2010. On the other hand, Ford Figo car will also be introduce shortly in Indian Auto Market.
